This project delivered bicycle parking facilities at approximately 30 locations across Cork City. Installations were completed in public amenity parks, school grounds and public roadways to serve and incentivise an increased reliance on bicycle use in the city.
Project scope included the following headline elements:
- Design and implementation of Traffic and Pedestrian Management Plans
- Excavations
- Manufacture and installation of stainless steel bicycle parking stands
- Manufacture and installation of bicycle shelters
- Construction of concrete ground slabs
- Reinstatement on completion
